History

Kabari - Bangladesh

« Dhaka is a miserable version of Venice. Kabari lives with her feet in the mud of a makeshift embankment. She dwells in a small boat that resembles a caravan. Her former house was bulldozed by the government one day during the monsoon season. Every morning, Kabari waits for her husband who sells fish at the market. They still need to pay back the loan they took out to buy the boat, and above all, to feed their children.
